How to add Availability Rules to your content

Control how and when one of your audience segments is able to see a given piece of content.

Prerequisites

  • A Skylark account

  • At least one content object

  • At least one availability rule

Assigning an Availability Rule

  • Log in to your Skylark account and navigate to the Content Library

  • Find the piece of content you want to make availabile

  • Click on it to open the metadata panel

  • Click on the availability tab

  • Click on the + symbol to bring up a menu and select the availability rule you want to use.

  • Click Save to add the availability rule.

Assigning an Availability Rule - Drag and Drop

  • Log in to your Skylark account and navigate to the Content Library

  • Find the content object you you want to make available and click on it to open the metadata tab

  • Click on the Availability tab to see the availability rules already assigned to the object.

  • Use the search bar to find the rule you want to add. Alternatively use the Availability View to see all of your rules.

  • Click and drag the desired availability rule onto the metadata tab to assign the availability rule to your object.

You can also drag a content object onto the open panel of any availability rule!
